The customary way communities prevent what most people define as harmful behavior is by enacting laws criminalizing such behavior and by imposing deterrent-level penalties.

Our Mission:

To criminalize hydraulic fracturing and all related industrial activities by passing New York Public Law 1, which imposes financial and penal consequences for perpetrators of these crimes against people, property, climate, and our natural environment, on which our survival depends.

Our Vision:

We envision a New York State without fossil fuel exploitation and its related industrial activities, where only renewable energy sources supply a reduced demand, where the consequences of climate disruption are minimized, and where people, not corporations, govern transparently and democratically.
